Maria 5/4/2020 9:54:53 AM | Dear Amy, Mel is right in saying this disease goes in cycles...boy, is that ever true! Unfortunately, all of us (I think) experience what seem to be relapses, but in fact, it's the cyclical nature of the healing process. It's two steps forward, three steps back sometimes. 7 months, where you are at, is a big hurdle, as I recall. I am now at 18 months, which poses its own challenges, but overall, I have made definite progress. After weeks of feeling terrific, with no symptoms, suddenly, the symptoms return, nearly full force. It is depressing and discouraging, to say the least. It helps to understand that the disease re-surges periodically in self-defense, and it is vital to stick to the protocol. It's not that you've lost all the progress you've made, it's just time to stand your ground, tighten your diet and sleep routine..stay the course, slow and steady. Be sure to carefully assess your diet to make sure you are not inadvertently consuming too many carbs or sugar, which will make your symptoms flare like mad. Be vigilant about following the split dosing during the full moons each month. Try to rest, nap and sleep as much as you can. Sleep is a powerful weapon against this disease..Mel has said it hundreds of times, and it is true. Drink lots of water every day, and try to reduce the stress in your life, where you can. Take comfort in knowing that it is never too late to start afresh..if you have fallen off the diet, just get back on it. I've done that, more than once. Hang in there, you will start feeling better soon-- hugs, Maria

Dee 4/24/2020 10:39:32 AM | Hi Amy, I went through the same thing. A few months back symptoms seemed to have gone away. Then they started back, and now I have the same symptoms as you do. I don't have any answers; but look forward to hearing from people who do.
