Karen,

You are so right. Grains are not advised for anyone with leaky gut and compromised immune systems.

We need to heal the gut and strengthen the immune system and get rid of the parasites which harbor mold and toxins and heavy metals before we eat grains.

Even afterwards grains should be soaked for 24 hrs before cooking. Then when the leaky gut is healed we can have sprouted grains and such.

Over the last few weeks I have been watching several series of videos with speakers who are very knowledgeable in functional medicine.

I wish I could remember it all!

But to sum up it is just what John B and his father and Mel have advocated.

All the experts are very good people

But Mel is mountain high above them all.

A vegetarian diet seem to be the preference of many of them but also the paleo and Keto diet are advised though it seems the Keto diet is not suited to cancer patients. I have forgotten why.

Diet is the key....and exercise.

One thing I did not know is that gut health is the most importànt and that brain and gut communicate.
The bacteria that cause Lyme and Morgellons damage and disrupt the cells's energy so that miscommunication occurs.

No wonder our bodies do such strange things when we have morgs. The intracellular messages are all confused. A bit like the tower of Babel

You mentioned quantities of food each needs.

We need no more food per meal that will fit on the palm of our hand but it must be rich in nutrients and
mostly vegetables / nuts/ seeds and a little meat or eggs , cheese or fish. We need good oils and lots of water And certain fruits.

The body knows what food it needs. It is just that we are so conditioned to sugar that it is hard to let go even though it causes such damage.
It seems an adult around 150 lbs needs 40 to 50 grams of protein. I could go on but won't.

I am away to have one halfteaspoonful of cacao nut butter to ease the sugar yen.

The children are eating donuts with sprinkles on.

Karen,

I remember wearing those nighties and the awful feel of them twisting round and round.
Give me fine cotton or nice warm pyjams any time.

The morgs are in me not in my clothes.

But everyone is different.

God Bless.
