Vanessa 5/28/2024 9:21:35 AM | Thanks so much for your input Dale and Jen. I appreciate the detail. I did use it internally to get things moving. Yes, the 1st 2 days did cause diarrhea but the 3rd was a good bowel cleansing. I did start with 4 days of ghee (2 tbsp liquid) early morning and then followed with 2 tbsp castor oil for the next 3 days in the mornings. I've heard that it does break up stuff like gallstones and kidney stones and yes packs are great from what I've heard. I was just wondering what everyone else's experience was. So thanks so much for your responses
Dale 5/25/2024 9:49:06 AM | Update: After having a positive experience taking 1 tablespoon for 1 day when I was backed up from pain meds for my kidney stone, I had decided to try 1 tablespoon per day again this week for 3 days. Let me tell you I am glad the bathroom was free. It was too much and gave me diarrhea. I thought well at least things are clearing out, so I did it two more days. By the third day I was itching all over especially my face and things were coming out (I used post it notes on my face to see). Nevertheless, it about drove me crazy. Not a good idea and I should have talked to Mel first. As Mel says, slow and steady wins the race. Please if you decide to try castor oil internally, I wouldn't try 1 tablespoon, but maybe a teaspoon, and not every day. Or maybe try the liver pack instead of internally as Jen recommended. Take care, Dale
Jen 4/26/2024 8:45:55 AM | Hi Vanessa, I’ve not been able to take it internally. Literally makes me gag. But external liver packs is awesome. An African doctor I was seeing liked to use it internally for parasites and liver. Others could do it. If you choose to start, begin with 1tbsp or less. Then increase. From personal experience. Hope you find relief. Sending you best wishes. Xo, Jen
