Chrissie 11/5/2019 8:36:22 AM | Dear All, Please listen to this excellent and informative Conference call. In this call John B from Logos Nutritionals and T. J. Coyle, COO of Pharmazam - At Home DNA Testing, go into great depth to discuss the various affordable tests that are now available on the Logos website. People with Toxic disease can have many infections in the body as well as toxicity from the environment around them. With the health tests, knowledge is power and they will enable individuals to assess health areas that they need to work on. Logos Nutritionals have been working hard to access affordable tests, so that people can get the right tests done. These tests can be carried out and are interpreted by the doctors on staff. You can also take the results to your primary care doctor who is working with you. John B was saying that up until now it has been difficult to access the right tests, doctors don't always take them seriously and they have been very expensive. Some tests doctors don't use or don't know exist. The Logos tests are self pay, but very reasonable. Insurance may cover some tests, for instance if you have heart disease or are on chronic painkillers etc. There are 12 at home diagnostic tests, one test is a DNA test. The DNA test is a comprehensive test that will tell you how your body responds to any drug approved by the FDA. The results will be on a national database for the duration of your life. So, at any point from now on, if you take drugs, the results will show if your nuclear DNA (body blueprint) will cope. So you will be able to find out ahead of time if any prescription medicine is compatible with your DNA. It maps out your human Genome. The test also gives drug to drug interactions. John B said that the biggest reason to have this through Logos is to expand your access to personalised medicine data. This will help you in your health journey, more so than blindly trying this or that. Logos do this through a free handy App which you can download on your phone. The DNA test is through a saliva swab which is sent to the lab. DNA definitely does predict your body's response to drugs. The only thing it cannot predict is that the body's response to drugs can change if the microbiome in the gut changes. John B said that nowadays nearly every drug has genetic labeling on it. So the DNA testing will keep you up to speed re what drugs will be compatible with you. This also suits drug companies as there will be less lawsuits in future based on bad interactions to a particular drug. This DNA test is 499 dollars but will cover you for life. Other tests include a test on inflammation and vitamin D. It measures the systemic inflammation levels and vitamin D levels. This is particularly useful for those who may be at risk of heart attack or strokes, as they are always caused by inflammation (119 dollars). There is a Testosterone test which tests the total levels and the pre testosterone levels (79 dollars). A CDC metabolism test which tests the metabolism and hormones like cortisol (the stress hormone) and testosterone. There is a food sensitivity test which tests 96 different foods. Food allergies and inflammation caused by food can be a tremendous problem. Though John B states that this test is a snapshot of a particular time. This is because food sensitivity could be different in five years based on healing your gut. The test is 149 dollars. John B says that in 2020, allergies and immunotherapy will be realised in hospitals. They will be working on things like seasonal allergies, allergy to cat, dog, pollen etc. He said that the thymus gland can be in time, retrained to no longer react to such things. There's a thyroid panel test that will look at different types of thyroid dysfunction. A heavy metal test ( lead, Mercury and arsenic are three of the main metals that can be found affecting the body). There's a Haemoglobin AC1 test (if you are concerned about blood sugar, being diabetic or insulin resistant). There's a candida test(many with Toxic disease have candida overgrowth). There's a cholesterol panel test. There's also an environmental pollutants panel test. There's an organic acid panel which looks into metabolic dysfunctions and how out body metabolises fats, sugars and proteins. As you can see there are many lab testing options with Logos. We know that we are in excellent hands with John B and Logos Nutritionals. His knowledge and expertise is always cutting edge. He and his team keep themselves at the forefront of current medical and scientific knowledge. Also, we know that the lab tests will be analysed carefully and professionally. Thanks again John, Chrissie | ||||||
