Hello all...
Boy oh boy how many times has the subject of cleaning come up on this forum?! Haha! Well let me say that I've always been OCD with cleaning. It started in my teen years and only got worse when I started having children.

When we became sick with morgellons I honestly felt as if my environment was never clean and I would clean most of the day. I would not only clean the house but was having my hubby clean the car everyday too. Since I couldn't sleep anyway it gave me something to do to take my mind off all the crazy stuff that was happening. Although looking back I wish I would have spent more time resting because I think I would have got better faster if I would have relaxed more.

While I think having a clean environment is always a good thing and helps to protect others that come into your home, it's not the main part to getting well. Like Mel has reiterated to us on the forum, when you get well on the inside your environment follows.

I am happy to say that since the beginning of this year my cleaning and laundry routines are like they were before getting sick. I now change the sheets once a week again and let me tell you that is such a relief for me because changing and washing everyone's bedding everyday was such a chore not to mention the water bills were extremely high. We also have a normal house cleaning schedule again. No more cleaning all day everyday. My husband is beyond thrilled that I'm not asking him to vacuum and clean the car everyday and not walking behind everyone with a spray bottle of mms. Lol!

Hang in there folks, it gets so much better!
