I thought I'd share that I stored my Cal King comforter and started using acrylic blankets that are twin and double size, that I'd layer over me depending on how cold/warm it was. Those sizes were just enough to cover me and that washed easily. There was so much laundry already, I couldn't manage the humongous comforter, too.
I use a little hepa filter unit by Holmes in my room for the air, but only turn it on every so often now. I like to leave the windows open when it is warm enough outside for some "fresh" air. Also we got a hepa filter at Home Depot for our central air heating/AC unit.
