4/16/2016 12:20:07 AM | Hi again Sam - well I realized I never addressed the decongestants and that was the word in your title. Lol For me personally - I just stayed away from any OTC drugs as much as possible and still do! I think salt rinses are the very best! A good untainted sea salt is an absolute powerful gift and wish I had used it more early on! Wish i gargled with salt daily and did the Sinus rinses from week 1! I once had small little wormies in my green tea and I threw out a box of tea thinking small cysts were in the tea imported from China! But it was in my saliva! It was in My mucous and MY spit that got into my tea! I did NOT realize that until later. Then a few times - I watched a black chunky spec drop from my nose and make a red mound and then form a large mass sore above my lip. What the heck! Horrible - but even then I was not even thinking of cleaning deep in sinuses - so glad when I FINALLY did clean my sinusses and i believe the Back sinus is key - so is the pineal gland. I did a lot of research and lost links - or sites were mysteriously "removed"- but a lot of sick people have a "calcified pineal gland" (from fluoride and other things that I am sure others here know much more about)- but the good news is that Mel's protocol decalcifies so much in the body - the herbs and nutrients in the products slowly "mop up" and fortify the pineal gland / adrenals / blood - etc and they decalcify! Anyhow - I suggest saline sinus rinses even more than my cotton swabs and turmeric! I also wanted to share my favorite sinus rinse bottle - it is sold on Amazon and it is from a brand called "Neil-med" it is cheap, easy to use and effective! Love it - I never used a real netti pot - but this one Is win-win! And sorry that you are struggling today! During my very hardest months it helped that I "knew of" a few folks who recovered and who were symptom free! It gave me hope! For the first few months I had only seen or Heard of folks who were not healing! Some victims were bald (or balding) and had protruding stomachs and were progressively getting more ill - many called it an auto immune disorder. I saw videos of some folks who had this for 8+years - - and then saw that Joni Mitchell still struggles with it - oh and one guy had a site and was using (and selling) magnets to cope with this!!! - and another guy did not shower for a few months to see if that would get rid of his - he is no longer posting on his site - but I told him about Mel's protocol and hopefully he came here because there is real help here. And so keep that in mind at this hard time - there is hope for recovery and you can make it! Be strong. Take it one day at a time. my spouse and I would have our talks and of course pray non stop - but many times we would remind ourselves that we were In crisis mode. And what that means is that there is a different approach to life when in this crisis mode - it helped change our response and helped Improve our thinking and kept us sane! It became a time to learn more about detaching and letting go and learning to "be" - and to celebrate small victories - like a healed sore or good night sleep! To laugh at silly things and feel comic relief as the gift it ca be. To feel god's intimate touch again and again. It was a long cluster of seasons learning to never give up - and to stay humble - learning more about personality - flaws and strengths - and of course - learning how to fight to stay stable - making it through some hard "herx" days and just keeping balance in the midst of a long nightmare! It also helped me a lot to know I was getting super healthy from the inside out - and that is priceless. Anyhow - knowing some folks recovered gave me a light at the end of the tunnel- and once I even asked Mel for details about when he got better - how it felt and just wanted details. Lol - but it helped me to think of what I had to look forward to.... And you could hear the joy in amber's voice during a conference call when she was getting better and said she wore make up and went out! I wanted that and knew my day would come. And then for me - once I really had most symptoms dissipate -I just eased into it. Forearms were stubborn areas for me and when those sores dried it was momentous - but most other things happened subtly. Sometimes I would get to the end of the day and say -"oh I did not even realize I was not itchy" or I'd look in the mirror and then look again and see my clear face and it felt so normal. It felt sooooo normal! It blew me away! After so many months of the craziest affliction and nightmare cycles - I was easing back into my life with a very short memory - Maybe like forgetting the pain of chidbirth?? Now don't get me wrong - I will always always always be In tune with what I healed from and there are certain foods I will never eat again. But it was amazing to me as to how Normal it felt being mostly normal again - if that makes sense! And that is waiting for u.... --- Later on I eventually plan to advocate for more awareness of this nightmare disease - but right now I am slowly working more and making sure I keep on healing deep inside - making sure I get sleep and not too much rigorous exercise - but enough exercise for what my body needs. And I want to be a fully available momma and just draw boundaries as God leads - but all of us our United as brothers and sisters here because we shared this affliction! I think I had more confections than many folks - maybe not....but I know I had candidiasis for a very long time, which I know made me vulnerable to MD. Candidiasis is a silent tyrant and sneaky killer! And Candidiasis takes years to eradicate (even without Lyme or MD). So I am making sure I never feed that again - as I slowly embrace moving into non-crisis mode. So hang in there Sam! (And everyone) Journal - listen to music that edifies - get under sound teaching that will minister to your soul! Read forum posts - and find helpful stuff that will strengthen your spirit. There are times when I would watch four episodes of Joyce Meyer and have renewed outlook and vigor! I don't watch her show anymore - but for months it was soul food! So hunt for things that bring "you" wellness - sometimes getting out to eat with the family breathed new life into me - even the night when it looked like I was a Leper - oh and yoga classes were key for me. I know things move so slow with this healing and it never seems to let up - maybe a day or two reprieve and then different cycles begin again- but month after month healing is going on at the cellular level and eventually it makes its way out! So stay the course. Be encouraged and thanks again for taking the time to reply - peace! |
