This is not a fun time for you...but...but please do congratulate yourself on your kindheartedness as a mother, and keep doing what you're doing to fix it.
As a mother of two grown daughters, I have learned this much...in spite of our best efforts, there's nothing any parent can do to protect our children from the bumps in the road that are a part of everyone's life, so the best thing we can do for our children is to show them how to handle them. It's a problem that's yours to solve, but...the upside is your daughter is experiencing what it's like to run across a difficulty and have her mother demonstrate by example how to apply problem solving techniques. Your attitude toward this setback is an example too, and the fact that you've picked yourself up, dusted yourself off, and started again ioffers a life lesson of great value.
You'll get past this setback...and you and your precious daughter will be stronger because of it.
Hang in there and know you're a wonderful mom who is greatly admired by everyone who reads your posts.
