Morgellons - Essential Oils internally

Can someone answer my question about essential oils used internally?

(Not Recommended Internally, Me, I will ask Cathee and John B to respond to this post as well.)

I have read about some people getting better taking several drops of cinnamon oil, clove oil, lemon oil, oregano oil, red thyme oil and rosemary oil internally.

(The only oil I ever took internally was oil of oregano and it was added too our protocol in our first extension) Me

Would appreciate any advice.

(Cathee and I discussed this in recent months in coffeee tea with me,
Cathee and John B thoughts to follow)

Thanks so much!
Katharine

Morgellons - Essential Oils internally

Hi Katharine,

Essential oils are powerful medicines that have numerous applications in natural medicine. However, I agree with Cathee's words of wisdom and caution regarding internal use which should be short term and under the supervision of a knowledgeable practitioner.

Blessings,

John

Morgellons - Essential Oils internally

Hi Katharine,

Here are some general guidelines regarding taking EO's internally.

Do remember that oil and water do not mix, so simply adding a drop to water will leave that drop undiluted. Some oils are irritants and all oils are very strong, so it's best to be safe and dilute it with an edible carrier like coconut oil first before ingesting essential oils.

Oils like peppermint, lemon and frankincense have great internal benefits and can be taken with water. Other essential oils like clove and oregano need to be diluted and shouldn't be taken internally for more than 1 week.

Ingestion is best done with the guidance of a certified aromatherapist. ... There is certainly a place in aromatherapy for ingestion, but just like any powerful synthetic pharmaceuticals, essential oils should be ingested with caution and for only very short periods of time, under the guidance of a certified aromatherapist

Natural Ginesis carries 100% pure essential oils. More detailed information regarding 100% therapeutic essential oils can be obtained from the Doterra and Young Living web sites. It is interesting to note that Vanderbilt Hospital, here in Nashville, has been conducting conducting long term studies for the use of Doterra EO's in this very fine hospital. Oils are now being used at all nurse stations, and the use of certain oils, such as peppermint and ginger, will soon be available use for the patients.

Thanks for your questions. They are very important.

God Bless,
Cathee
