There are some essential oils you can take internally but you need to know which ones. I have used essential oils for many years but never so much as now. There is a book on amazon called Healing with essential oils by Dr Eric Zeilinsky? He and his wife use essential oils for every thing. It is a good guide. Both myrhh and frankinsense are used internally but with care as they are very powerful. Remember what suits one may not suit another, And less is more. (I would never recommend anyone who has brain fog to use the oils internally and also not until on the protocol for about four month's to see how you have handled everything, you have been taking up to now. Also recommend you talk with Cathee, Deanna or John before starting oils internally!) ME again Dr Z's book gives quantities for different uses. We use essential oils in cooking.... Most flavorings use essential oils....lemon, orange, etc etc. A carrier oil is needed to which a drop or two of essential oil is added before ingestion. You can use grape seed oil, coconut or olive oil as a carrier. We all used dried herbs of one kind or another in cooking and these contain concentrated amounts of essential oils. I did not get on with taking one drop of oregano oil under my tongue but I add it to my soup and it goes down more easily. Oregano is very powerful. Lavender oil in a little olive oil warmed in the hand and rubbed on the tummy soothes tummy pain. If one thing doesn't suit then try another. I cannot take olive leaf pills so chew an olive leaf or two from my little tree. Remember you can use essential oils in a difuser to clean the air and to soothe. God Bless. Ps Someone called Stephen sent me an e mail tonight and in it was this; " Just keep a light shining in your heart and it will be ok." And I am sharing it with you because I think we all have to keep the light shining while we battle on. | |||
