Hi Deanna!

Sorry for my slow response. We had a bit of a weather-related disaster around here just after Thanksgiving weekend and I had to replace my laptop, etc.

I would be happy to share some recipes. I think I owe you some travel-related oil recipes and tips as well. My anti-creature sachets are pretty easy - I have two types. I will try to post those tonight as right now I'm responding to this on my way out the door.

My advice regarding Young Living is not meant to disparage the company. I think they have the right idea in mind. However, they are too expensive and so not always verify their sourcing. I think they take advantage monetarily. Simple as that. Some essential oils are fantastically expensive for a legitimate reason, such as saffron oil, Bulgarian rose, orris/iris and carnation, to name but a few. In some cases, it takes a great deal of the plant, bark, petal, root or leaf to produce a viable amount of oil. Sometimes processing a certain oil is arduous and the expense lies in that process. If that is the case with a particular oil, the consumer needs to be aware. Some oils like lemon, orange, eucalyptus, clove, etc. should never be over priced because they are abundant and the processing is minimal.
I won't recommend companies that make their reputation merely by name. They have to have clearly stated standards, sourcing and be reasonable in price where they can.

Hope you and all the other Forum Fellows had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Sending you warmth for maximum healing and peace -
