11/14/2016 5:51:21 PM | Thank you Peter and Paula - I am blushing at your kind words.
Peter - both of my grandmothers were amazing, fascinating women (and my great-grandmothers, too, for that matter). My Scottish grandmother was an herbalist who also created her own hybrid species of irises and lilies. Greenest thumb I've ever encountered. I was so lucky to spend time with her in her garden as a child. She also canned her own fruits and vegetables. I'd like to think I'm helping to carry on that heritage and tradition in some small way to honor her, but I could be more dedicated and do more with that than I do at the moment.
I have been so moved by the good people on this forum that I told Mel I wanted to contribute and give something back for all of the amazing support and knowledge that I receive from all of you. Even though I have a wonderfully supportive husband, I felt so terribly alone in some ways when I first stumbled upon Mel's site. The members here humble me with their compassion, grace and knowledge nearly every day. I no longer feel so isolated and alone.
I sincerely hope the posts on essential oils and herbalism offer comfort and help to someone else. These have always made a profound difference in my family's lives and have certainly elevated my healing process with MD.
Essential Oils Part II is coming within the next couple of days :)
Warmest wishes for your continued healing and peace.
