I have been on the protocol for about 1-1/2 mo. now. I am feeling more energetic at times and more tired at times (those being the days I work). When I come home from work I am pretty exhausted and can really only do what I need to do around the house and read here on my days off. I do get on the website every morning and every night but have more time and energy on days off. So I just read "Mel's Protocol Beginner's Packet" that Anna put together. Anna this is wonderful. It is so professional and I have been searching for something just like this and it is right in front of me. I am going to go the library and print it out later today. I even enjoyed reading about the Morpho Butterfly. The recipes sound amazing. My brain fog has been pretty bad lately so I am so glad for this thread. I love the posts from Karen that are so educational and Chrissie's as well. Really everyone has so much help to give. Thank you Donna and Cheryl, Tracy, Leslie, Donald, Freddie Bean, Nicholas, Jaime and of course, MEL!!!!. And also, Welcome to the newcomers. (Forgive me please if I left anyone out) Next month, I am getting cataract surgery, first my right eye and in April my left. I am a little nervous but it is necessary because I just can't see to drive anymore. It is even getting hard to read sometimes even though I have great vision up close. I am hoping this alleviates some of the tiredness because of straining all the time as well as some eye pain although I know that part of it is this disease. I have been taking steps to help my eyes this week. A friend bought me the silver and I have been using it a lot. It really helps. I love the Kleen Green and will get some with my next pay check. I have to get a spray bottle but even rubbing a bit of it diluted on skin that may be itchy, stops it in its tracks. I learn something new every time I get on the calls and read or talk with someone here. I just am amazed at the love and knowledge that pours out each weekend. I am sorry I missed the call Saturday but found Brenda's information with the Search engine and I will definitly listen to the call this week. Without hearing the testimonies and the joy of everyone who calls in, I would probably drift away from my goal. It has been so IMPORTANT to me and I thank you all. I might not say a lot because I am kind of shy but my heart is in it because of this website and the calls. (My granddaughter is usually beside me listening in as well) Anyway, I am looking forward to being well and know it wouldn't be possible without Mel, and this wonderful family of warriors. Thank you Linda | |||
