Hi Mary,

Welcome.
I've been in the community since March 2018 about 9 months.

I have the same cold symptoms as well.
I dress in layers always during winter and try to avoid going outside on days when I feel cold. I've noticed that I am usually overdoing it and tired or fighting off a cold. Feeling cold is a sign that I need to do less and rest more. It is essential for healing.

Let go of the stress and put your needs above all for now. I know it's easier said than done.

I have an overhead heater in my bathroom and most days in the beginning of felt like an air conditioner was blowing on me. Until the last few nights I have started to heat the best coming out when I get out of a shower or bath.

Mel has often said to use warm water not hot water as the disease may spread or thrive in hot water. Just today he suggested to spray WPS on the skin before a shower - taking care not to get any near your eyes.

After my bath or shower I spray my skin with Kleen Green diluted with 7 parts water. Essential oils are also great options and it's good to mix it up a little.

As you come around you'll develop methods that work for you and likewise you'll learn what not to do. Trust me I've made a lot of mistakes.

I find an electric blanket is super cozy on cold winter nights.I leave mine very low and it seems to do the trick.

As far as my diet, I eat a lot of chicken and some beef but at 12$ a pound organic is not in my budget either. I do but meats from reputable markets and can usually find good clean chicken for 6$ lb. And beef for 4/lb. Nuts and berries can be pricey but even with natural sugar it's best to refrain in the beginning as you may have a co-infection. Most of us do I think. So nuts - pecans- walnuts- almond - macadamia.
No peanuts no peanut butter.

Berries - blueberry - strawberry- pineapple for now.

I don't eat fish but I think fresh salmon and tuna are good.

Everyone is different and in the beginning less is more. So glad you're here because this is the place where you will get well.

Melism - Those who never lost HOPE got well.

Love,
Nicholas
