So good to read your post. You have covered all the bases, right? Follow your instincts and revel in the fact that you are away from NYC. That is a huge victory in itself!
Just a thought.....high altitude environments will serve anyone well when it comes to air and water quality. I believe these may be important considerations for you. Anyway, hope this helps.
