Hi Everyone! I looked up the flu vaccine and did not find a post closer to today than 2015. Does everyone still recommend not getting the flu vaccine today?? Also, does anyone have any recomendations for flakey and waxey skin and eczema or dermatitis?? I am having so many problems with this and of course the dermatologist is no help. I would really appreciate any help, PLEASE! Katharine

Hi katharine, I hope you are doing well! :-) I just wanted to say that last year a dear friend of mine and her husband who both have Lyme and Morgellons both had the flu vaccine. And oh boy they lived to regret it! Almost immediately afterwards they both had quite severe Lyme disease symptoms and inflammation all over the body. My friend in particular was exhausted and it affected her joints and mobility. Safe to say they would never ever get it again!! . Another thing we should avoid if we can is steroids. A woman I know, recently got a steroid shot for inflammation in her fingers. Overnight her Morgellons symptoms flared up and sores started appearing on her body. The steroid had depleted her immunity enough to allow the disease to take hold. So steroids are also a bad thing for Lyme and Morgellons sufferers also. I find epsom salt baths soothing for the flaky eczema type itchy skin maybe with ten drops of either eucalyptus or clove or tea tree. Have you tried spraying pure silver onto those areas, it should help. Or a few drops of clove oil mixed with kleen green rubbed in. Or some zovirex (cold sore cream) I find that helps. I think it's possibly viral or fungal in origin. Take care, Chrissie
