I think it's tremendous you are moving to Colorado. I think it is a truly beautiful place. I have a dear friend who lives there and they seem like really nice people!
I love the accent too:-) And the countryside, just wow!! It's gorgeous!
The picture a few miles from where you will live is simply beautiful!! "Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam!" :-).
I think you will love the clean fresh air and expansive blue skies, and the hills and the greenery and the wildlife. I think you will love that there are far less people living there. And it's great that it reminds you of Lake Tahoe near where you used to live!
It's going to be an exciting move for you! And it's good you have a few months to get it all sorted. Though I hope you can pace yourself well. Oh, you went through way too much with all those moves a little while back!
I hope this move will be your last and that you will settle and be very content and peaceful there:-).
