Hi Folks I'd like to share how much I enjoyed the call to listen to and then vote for the winner amongst the many heartfelt posts that everyone submitted to this contest. This is also because I know how much Mel enjoys hosting them. And because I have seen him dedicate so much time across a lot of years to the Foundation and to procuring vendor gifts for the people here that so desperately benefit from them. The "Great Post Contest," Saturday 26th October was a very pleasant cheerful competition call. It was very nice that people came on to come together and have some fun. Mel talked about, "health being more important than anything."He talked to Peter about the importance of community so that people are not alone in fighting this disease. Eighteen people joined the call and many read their posts and talked about the motivation behind their positive posts. It was an uplifting, enjoyable call. Five people tied for first place but in the round two Michelle And I Tied and won. Her post was about overcoming fear to finally be able to heal. Mel said, "fear is a waste of time and an inhibitor, it will never help you to get well. You will learn once you get fear out of the way." Wise words indeed!
