Thank you, Karen! I just saw your belated message and truly appreciate it!
It wasn’t the most exciting birthday I have ever had, but I am just grateful that God granted me a 55th birthday! Back on my 50th birthday, I could not have honestly told you I would see that day. Thank goodness God has blessed me all along the way, even though the journey has not been easy!
I’m hoping that by the time my 56th birthday comes that I will be substantially better, and I feel super confident that I will be!

Hi Jamie,
I'm a couple of days behind acknowledging you here on the site, but I do want to say I hope you had a wonderful day. What a great year this will be for you with so much to look forward to! Your retirement has now given you an opportunity to get the rest you need to get well...and your move sounds so exciting.
The part of the country you're moving so is so beautiful...and you're right...southern people are very welcoming. You'll have a social group in no time flat. A new house will be great...and now you'll have the time to take your time to get everything just how you want it. Retirement means you don't have to be in a hurry to do anything!
