Dear Nezhla, I forgot to tell you in the last post to you, just how beautiful what your friend said to you was. So true! When others have gotten well here, they often say they learned so much, changed their lifestyles and diets, and have become better people all around. They appreciate life more and don't take even the smallest things for granted anymore. When I was well before getting sick, I used to hear that old saying, " If you have your health, you have everything!" I truly never paid much attention to it then. NOW, I know how very true that is and it and this disease has woke me up to what is truly important in our lives! I am glad you keep that on your phone. What a blessing that friend is! Hi Robin, Thank you so much for writing me and for encouragement. It is inspiring and hopeful to hear the success stories of others and to be a part of the community and on the calls. It is definitely important to have support during this trail as I'm so glad this community is here and that you, Mel and others are so friendly. I will check out the recipes. Some are really good that I have tried and I can't wait to make the pumpkin pie I heard referenced! I have an inspirational story my friend told me and wanted to post it somewhere, but wasn't sure where to post it. It goes like this: My friend was aware that I was down about going through the illness and staying home. I didn't feel like God was proud of me and I felt discouraged about how I looked and the sensations I was going through and having to stay isolated. He thought for a minute, and I will tell you this is a poetic guy and is kind of known for it in his circle, but I was so surprised by what he said. It is along these lines.."Nezhla God loves you and wants you to be healed. Right now you are going through a period where you are like in a chrysalis or cocoon, where you are being prepared for the next stage in your life while you are healing and taking the protocol, cleaning and everything included with getting better, including staying home (chrysalis comparison). Then you will come out as a beautiful moth or butterfly, so do not be discouraged, but look at this as your preparation time for a bright, beautiful future. I hope that quote will inspire others.
