I brought up an issue I'm having with my hands on the Saturday call. I have to wear gloves for food service where I work and my hands have been quite bad with lesions and itching, worse than any place else. It took me a while to get the courage to ask because I was afraid it was a silly question but I'm glad I did.
I have to change gloves several times during the day and my hands are in water a lot as well.
There were a lot of helpful suggestions, ie. first and foremost spraying WPS before putting on the gloves, coconut oil with tea tree and let it soak in for 1/2 hour, Desitin maximum strength, heat lamps on hands, keeping them as dry as possible, some sort of silver patches, powder. Hopefully, I remembered them all. I tried the coconut oil and desitin the first night and it really made a difference almost immediately.
I am hoping these suggestions help someone who may have the same issue and also, if anyone else has suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you everyone for your help,
Love, Linda
