Hi Ruth Ann,
This is actually a sign that you are herxing..killing them off, and that's good!
That said, it is scary and hard to go through..just remember, better out than in! You want those things leaving your body...
As Karen says, you want these things GONE, and that's what the sand is..dead ones. I'm still purging them at 9 months, but I know I'm winning the battle inch by inch, sometimes millimeter by millimeter.
Sometimes I feel like I'm sliding backwards when they start acting up but I have come to understand the cycles of them...a bad patch does not mean I'm not getting better, it just means they are trying desperately to make a last stand.
You have to be brave, and let go of your fear...you are stronger than this disease, and you WILL beat it.
We have the tools, the knowledge, and the power to eradicate it, and we are doing just that....Hang in there.
