What helped then and continues helping me push through the blues is when I "go back" to when I attended a weekend Christian retreat in high school, and then had the honor to lead the retreat the following year as a Senior. Among the stories and activities, we always had powerful music playing. I still refer to these songs and want to share here with the group. So much power in these lyrics and I hope you find the same in your listening experience.
"In Your Eyes" - Peter Gabriel https://youtu.be/B3kFPBtc9BE

"I've Always Loved You" - Third Day https://youtu.be/7fdu6zRpVa8
God Bless you all - know that HE walks with us through the storm; HE is our savior; and HE will always love us and never forsake us. |
