Hello everyone, and welcome once again.
It’s been a quiet week in our community, likely due to fear and uncertainty. But as Mel wisely reminds us in the Bible: “More communication is better.” The more we share with one another, the less our fears seem to control us.
Kipp and Dodie are back home after enjoying several wonderful mini-trips throughout the summer and early fall. (Check the thread "Getting Better" for some beautiful pictures!)
A very special community member needs our prayers. After not hearing from Nancy for over a week, I received a message from her: “Been very sick. They think I’m bleeding internally, and the storm had us without power from Thursday until Monday.” Please join me in praying for Nancy, her husband, and their dogs during this challenging time. Whenever you feel burdened by your own struggles, remember Nancy’s strength, and let’s lift her up in our thoughts.
This community was created because dealing with a toxic illness alone is a heavy burden—I know because I’ve been there. So please, let’s continue to communicate and support one another. Together, we can ease the feelings of loneliness.
As the rabbit always says: “That’s all, folks!”
