Hello Kimi,

And welcome to the forum. Thank you so much for posting and introducing yourself. I am so sorry that your father has died. It is wonderful that you were able to spend those weeks with him at the end of his life. My father died just under five years ago. He was 84 but it still felt too soon to lose him and I miss him every day. He was a preacher and a pastor and not always easy to get along with but like you I now wish so much he was here to talk to as he had so much wisdom. I think I could have talked to him about morgellons. He was great with keeping up with technology (he would have loved smart phones!) and would I think have supported my decision to follow Mel's protocol as he was an inspiration to me in healthy ways of living, even though I didn't take much notice of him when I was younger.

I think the stress of his illness and death and then supporting my mum who has the beginnings of dementia was a cause for me to develop shingles and then later on morgellons

We have that comfort though of knowing that our dads are at rest now with Jesus and we will see them again.

I'm sorry that you are dealing with morgellons and encourage you to read the FAQs here and the protocol pages and print them off and keep reading them. I waited seven months before deciding to start the protocol and wish now I had started sooner. I'm at twelve and a half months on it now and know that I still have further to go but have made a lot of progress. Its not a quick or easy or cheap path to take but what it has done is to make me a much more disciplined person in my diet, already resolved other health issues I had and has given me a new enthusiasm for life and a desire to live each day to the full for the rest of the number of days that God gives me.

Please keep posting and let us know how you are getting on. We are all here to help.

Love Ruth
