10/1/2016 6:31:21 PM | Bonjour Mighty Companions, Monday the 3rd of October designates the beginning of the 10th week on the Protocol. We are looking forward to the 3 month mark as that is the time when others have shared that positive results might be seen! On the ascent of Mount Wellness, Wholeness and Freedom (Mt. WWF) we have encountered some difficult times and several whiteouts where we could make no progress at all and had to hunker down in our tent. It was during one of these times that we heard approaching foot steps breaking through the frozen snow. Hoping is wasn't a snow leopard or Big Foot, we opened the flap and peered into the fading light only to be greeted with a hearty bonjour! We quickly invited this visitor into the shelter of our tent where after getting comfortable introduced himself as Mr Monolaurin. It seems he knows this mountain well and travels its many pathways offering assistance to those having a more difficult time reaching the summit. He said he had seen our camp a few days before during a very brief clearing of the weather and determined that we might need his assistance. Reaching into his supply pack he produced a few bottles of something he said might help our progress. The next morning, before we had fully awakened, he departed no doubt to help some other stranded climbers and as he walked away we heard him shout, "never give up hope." By now we had climbed high enough that we lost our cell phone signal; fortunately we had a satellite phone and no sooner had we removed it and set it up that it started to ring. It was Peter checking in on our progress and dispensing some "tough love," but it was still good to hear his voice. The weather is clearing and tomorrow we will break camp with a renewed Heart continuing our climb to the summit of Mt. WWF. Interpretation: Suspecting that we might also be dealing with Lyme we have added Monolaurin following the Protocol on this web site. Peter's call was about the importance of checking urine and saliva pH, not the first time he suggested this to me. So we are now checking the second voiding of urine after arising and the saliva at bedtime just before taking MMS. The MD continues to express all over the body as before with the wonderful exception of the head. The tops of the feet are now covered from just above the ankle to the start of the toes with red dry, itchy, scaling skin. Edema is present around the ankles at the end of the day and intense leg cramps waken me in the mornings. Well Beloveds, that is what seems to be happening now. Hopefully we will see some abatement of these expressions after 3 months and continue on our journey, traveling lighter, to the summit of Mt. WWF. Still looking forward to seeing you all there and by the way I heard a rumor that upon reaching the summit it "magically" transforms into Mel's backyard and pond! "The terrible thing, the almost impossible thing, is to hand over your whole self, all your wishes and precautions, to Christ. But it is far easier than what we are all trying to do (on our own) instead." C.S. Lewis This was a recurring theme at our last workshop this week: the more abstract and radical I accept the teaching to be, the more absolute the Surrender, the easier this life becomes. The ego cautions and says: "Try this on in this case, but not there!" Confusion, doubt and ultimately depression is the result. Have you tried to swim by sticking your toes in the water? Diederik W. "Never forget to laugh." Craig |
