It was great hearing from another person from Massachusetts.
It is strange how knowing others with this disease are so close by gives us strength and hope, and we don't feel so alone.
I am so sorry that your daughter has the disease also. She is so young, and it is so hard for kids to understand what we can barely understand ourselves. My youngest daughter also has the disease, though she is older, it is still very difficult for me to get her to stick to the diet fully.
I understand your fear, we all had it in the beginning, especially for our children. Fear can either break you or make you, and I believe that with the help of Mel's site and adhering to the protocol, our fear makes us all stronger fighters.

I will pray for you and your daughter, as I do for everyone on this site, to get well like Ellen and Mel did.
