Hello to all the Newbies!! I am deeply sorry that you have gotten this disease but I am truly glad that you have found us here! It is the beginning of your healing journey as long as you follow, ' the sum of the parts.' This is not an easy journey and it requires Strength, Endurance and Courage. But I will tell you that it makes a HUGE HUGE DIFFERENCE being part of a community who are going through the different journey in different stages! You will not be alone in this anymore ( this is an enormous step in the right direction believe me). Many come here worn out, belittled by an ignorant medical system who doesn't have a clue re toxic disease. Many are ostracized by family and friends, who again have no clue. Many are frightened, scared, exhausted, financially broke and at their wits end. That is where this community comes into play. Here, you are understood, validated, heard and surrounded by others going through the same thing so we get you. You are no longer utterly alone, trying to figure your way through the torture. Here, there is tremendous knowledge. Pay the five dollars a month to get access to the whole website and read, read and read some more. It is a wonderful resource in healing from toxic disease. This website is fourteen years old and it is extensive, uplifting, wise, community based and essential in your healing process. Get coaching from Mel as you will need that extra support and knowledge. He will cheer you when you are down and get you past any roadblocks. He will know regards your individual issues as he has been doing this for 14 years. He has helped many people from all over the world to get well.So, reach out. Join the Saturday Conference calls(2x a month) for knowledge, support, learning, understanding. Join every Sunday prayer for prayer and fellowship with community members. It is a comforting space to come together at the weeks end to connect with God and each other. Post in the forum, reach out, communicate, ask questions. We are here and we absolutely want to help you!!! Write a food journal to help you keep on track and to make things much easier for you. And also journal your journey. If it is all broken down into small manageable steps, then it is no longer so daunting for you. We got you and you got this!! Just breathe, take gentle care and know you are in the right place. You are not this illness, you happen to have it but it is NOT who you are. And it is not your fault you got it. Please throw away your microscopes, they will mess with your head and not help. Please stop reading horror stories regards Morgellons on other toxic websites, they are scary and will only frighten you. This website is about Hope and Recovery.We focus on Healing and Restoration.We focus on the steps we can take towards Healing the Bioterrain within, which will heal the whole body. We do NOT focus on exactly what this disease is, but on what we can do to heal from it. So, you will see no disturbing pictures here. And no horror stories are allowed. It's so important to shift your brain from thinking of what this is, to thinking what you need to do to heal. This shift will help your psyche but also your immunity. Above all else remember to sleep and rest, drink enough water and take good care of yourself. If you have faith, connect with God. If you like humour, seek it out. If you like music, listen, sing even dance. Go for a small walk in nature and breathe it in. You have got this, it just takes time and perseverance, patience and a whole lot of self love ( which you ABSOLUTELY DESERVE!!!) Last but not least be very compassionate to yourself at this time!! Hello everyone and welcome! I agree that we have to follow all of the parts, the sum of the parts and not just some of the parts as Mel says. When I first started putting my protocol together, I found it overwhelming. I think it was because I was trying to do a month of protocol in snack baggies at a time so I would be prepared, and this took forever. These days I am not so obsessive about the prep work and just prep a day or two in snack baggies at a time whether it is the night before or in the morning. It is much easier to make time for one- or two-days' worth instead of a whole week or month. I keep my protocol from Logos in my closet on a piece of furniture so I can always have it out for easy prep. I keep the next month in a duffle bag so it's ready in case I need to travel. I will close with this verse: Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, annointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
