From time to time, I read through the new journeys in this community. The question you posted on "How are you going to use this experience?" is such a great question. Nothing after having this disease is really ever the same. I would like to share a few things about the new me. First of all, for the most part I have resumed my life. But not the old life I had before MD. Rather the new life of understanding the importance of reading ingredients that are in foods. The new life of eating healthy and knowing what my body needs to overcome most illnesses. The new life of not taking anything for granted and finding blessings in the simplest of things like holding a grand child. Although a woman does not reveal her age, I will say I am well over 60. Last week after having my yearly blood work the doctor could not believe the results which were better than most 40 year old's. I had perfect range in all areas. I still take the basic protocol and will do this for the rest of my life. So in answer to your question; "How are you going to use this experience?" I use it to maintain my health in all areas. Physical, mental, emotional, and mostly Spiritual health. I will never forget the experience (both good and not so good) but more importantly I give thanks to our Lord for leading me to this community when I needed it most and giving me the strength to persevere. My prayers are for all who are learning about this disease to remain in this community as you continue to heal. Then from time to time after overcoming this, you too can revisit the forum and tell us about the many ways you used this experience. May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance. 2 Thessalonians 3:5 In Christ, Laura (past warrior) | |||
