Attention Everyone!!!!! We will be doing something really special on this Sunday's prayer meeting conference call !! At 4:04 AM this morning, Mel had an epiphany!! This thought is to create a short one line verse to sing and add to the song OLD TIME RELIGION. It is super easy and has short, short lines that repeat. Here is Mel's: Give me those good ole Logos products Give me those good ole Logos products Give me those good ole Logos products They're good enough for me!! Super!!! huh??? Here's another: When I get to heaven I'll see my Jesus When I get to heaven I'll see my sisters When I get to heaven I'll see my brothers We'll live in perfect peace! You see it can be anything, just make sure it's PG. Super idea Mel !! You are always being inventive and making this journey fun and interesting !! We certainly need fun and laughter with this disease!! C'mon everybody be ready to sing and have a one liner!! What fun !!!! Be there or be square! Have a one line twist or be on the naughty list!! Dear Friends, Since Thanksgiving Day is just a few days away, it seemed appropriate to first of all to express my praise and thanks to Jesus for His great great love and sacrifice on the Cross for my redemption and yours. This is a powerful song. May it bless you. But also, I am thankful for Mel and all he does for each of us. Where would any of us be except that God led us to the website and Mel's wisdom and help Thirdly, I am so thankful for each of you. You have become like a second family, a second church and great group of folks who encourage one another. So, despite the TOUGH situations we are experiencing, still let us raise our hearts and voices to the Lord God in THANKS! The apostle Paul instructs us in I Thessalonians 5:17 "Give thanks in ALL circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus". Is this EASY - often not. But the Bible says that "God inhabits the praise of His People". Father, we ask you to be in our midst as a Community! So, Lord Jesus, we will you up and give thanks. Karen (the Librarian) | ||||||
