The full moon is often a tough time. I still experience moderate heat sensation and inflammation in my right forearm around a full moon. What helps me is to practice thinking that there is no such thing as a “stressful situation.” There is only a “stressful response” to the situation. I won’t allow the “trickster” in Morgellons to deceive me into obsessing on the full moon as an overwhelming reproductive cycle. I don’t agree with this characterization. Hering’s Law of Cure teaches me otherwise.
In my opinion, lunar phases fuel repeating detox cycles that are seemingly tied to other, yet unidentified “restorative” factors. So, I look for it, and I prepare for it. Remember, you will always come out the back side of it with a cleaner terrain. Then there is no fear. And no fear means no release of cortisol. And no cortisol enhances immune response. Attitude becomes everything, no?
“Thank you” Leah, for keeping this thread alive.
