Dear Donna

I want to thank you for your kind words and the uplifting aspects of your posts. You are always so very positive and your spirit of encouragement for others to read is invaluable. I just want to lift you up and to encourage you as you continue in your journey back to health . You will most certainly succeed if you stay the course.

So, again, let me express my sincere gratitude for your many positive contributions both in this forum and on the conference calls. You are a great blessing to everyone here!

Always,

Dear Donna J.,

I am happy you are accepting these necessary new changes on this journey. In my opinion; prayer is also the "SUM" of the parts. This disease has brought me closer to God especially during my loneliest times.

I am reminded of wise words of wisdom my beloved Dad would tell me; "You can start your car all you want, but until you Put It In Gear, you will never go anywhere!" Well I hear that voice in my mind and now understand how to apply it this disease. We must put our car into gear and get started on the road to recovery.

It sounds like your car is in gear and you are determined to win this race. May God Bless you Donna and please keep us posted.

"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31

In Christ Love,
Laura (aunt)

Last night friend activity (bug movement) confirmed that they are migrating more towards the outer body. Every night for some time, I feel loads and loads of bumpy areas all over my body, I am experiencing more pain in various areas of my body. They are residing at the skin level. Previously, this was not the case. Since I realized I had this disease, the organisms have tried to hide deep in my body--no longer is this the case. Another indication of change, is they are exiting my face more--just as much as they surface on my trunk. I also observed that when I use Shea butter, my friends either don't like it or like it very much because there is so much movement and new organisms surfaced--kinds I have not seen in the past.

Thank you, Mel and Peter, for all of your input on the various topics discussed last during BBYQs. The information and comments shared were inspiring and a checklist for what I am already doing, and for my next steps in this journey. First, the idea of using smaller plastic bags for organizing the pill regiment is the way to go. Using this method, one can organize the protocol for the entire month. Doing this once a month is less tedious and reduces the anxiety one experiences as you lay out the pills. Second, the information shared about eating some proteins such as fish, chicken and some beef to keep the protein levels normal.

The comments on controlling the outbreaks on the face and body were equally as relevant, in that they further confirmed my use of sulfur soap or the use of sulfur products needing to be included in our regiments, both externally and internally. In regards to eating quinoa for healthy carbohydrates- well, Peter, hit it right on the head. Quinoa has saved me. I use it for many purposes and am so satisfied. The best result is it does not cause me reactions as long as I drink it with coconut or almond milk. I make bread with it. I use it as my cereal, eat it as a substitute for rice, include it in my salads.
The list of foods you can create with this grain is endless. Let's not forget the prayer and support experienced and discussed during the conference. The prayers delivered for those experience tough times and the monetary support for those who need it reinforced how special is this support group. They confirm that how important prayer and support is required to overcome this disease. I am all in... I must work on my commitment to prayer more.

And, last, the need to journal our journey, hit home because I need a running record of my experience, not just pictures. In conjunction with developing a running record, others will have the information to their questions. You know, we have to help each other. It is quite apparent our society is not going to help us. It is relying on the sufferer to find the answers. So be it.
