Hi Everybody,
Mel asked me to write this post to share that he's going to be unavailable today and tomorrow. He seems to have contracted bronchial pneumonia and is using all of his special tricks to combat it. He's making progress...his fever has broken and he's starting to feel just a bit better, but he's still pretty sick and needs to continue to rest and do what he needs to do to get past it.
Mel apologizes if anyone has tried to reach him yesterday and this morning and couldn't...he's slept 22 out of the last 24 hours and needs to continue to do this to get well. Based on his progress so far, he believes he'll be back up and running on Friday.
Please join me in praying for our sweet Mel. He is always so careful with his health so he can be here for us. He thinks he may have picked this up when he went to church...so good having people glad to see you and hug you and shake your hand...but...unfortunately there's a down side to this as well.
