Dear All, This week's Saturday Conference call (Saturday 2nd September) had none other than the very lovely Ruth from England as it's guest speaker. Ruth has been well now for five years but she comes back periodically to let us know how she is doing! It's absolutely lovely to hear from another person in the UK who gained their health through the , 'sum of the parts.' Ruth talked about as the years go on, she has been able to eat more of a variety of things and her body is okay with that. But she is well aware that Sugar is toxic so she does eat things like that in moderation. She is very happy that she is able to enjoy her life in this way again:-). She is even able to have a very small glass of red wine now and again and no ill effects! Sometimes if Ruth stretches it she will get a little itchy, so then she knows to pull back and tighten the diet. And then she is totally fine. Ruth still takes the Basic Wellness Protocol and Joint Marvel and Eve's Harmony. She talked about it all really helping her immunity, especially in these times of Covid. And she talked about amassing a wealth of knowledge whilst in our community regards Health and Herbs and Healing. This knowledge she says will help her for her entire life. She feels like she really needs all the wonderful nutrients that the Logos Basic Protocol provides. Nowadays Ruth picks Dandelions from her garden and is always learning about Herbs. Mel said, "yes be your own physician, We are all better prepared for what happens in the future with what we learn here " And Ruth learned through reading the entire website to its origins and listening to all the Conference calls as well as taking Mel's advice, that she could not rely on doctors for her healing. She realised that pharmaceutical companies are there firstly for profit, not health. Ruth said, "trust Mel and trust the protocol, do it as you are told. I'm sorry that you have this illness, as it is a nightmare. However, you are in the best place here to get well and you will get better." In the beginning Ruth took great comfort listening to others with this disease on Conference calls. She talked about being greatly reassured, when she heard people's voices get stronger, as the months went by and people's Health was improving. This gave her Hope to stay the course. Ruth said she was so pleased when she first contacted Mel because, "Mel just helped me without me even asking for help. He just did it!" She really appreciated Mel's help as he kept her on track. This was in the years before Mel did formal coaching. But he was very helpful and regularly called her and coached her. She also appreciated the website and the community. In turn she was a supportive active figure in the community, helping others to have Hope and to stay the course. And it's so lovely that she still comes back to offer Hope to new community members now:-). Mel told Ruth about Copper being very excellent at helping people with the parasitical component of this disease. And Mel talked to Ruth about him, "knowing people are well, often before they realise it themselves." Ruth said, "It is just amazing when you realise you are coming out of this nightmare and that life is carrying on. But the whole thing is still kind of traumatic isn't it? But it is a Joy to get your health back and to be able to eat what you like in moderation." Mel talked about him having a part time job now. This job has enabled him to donate 500 dollars the last two months to the HCAF which is tremendous!! And he hopes this will encourage others to donate more to the Foundation, so that he can help more people. Ruth said, "Mel you are a Rare person!" And Mel piped up in his funny way, "Ruth I have been called Medium, or even Well Done but never Rare!!" Good one Mel :-). Ruth talked about her husband not trusting that the Protocol would work at first. As he comes from a medical model background. But she prayed and prayed and her husband came to her and said God said to him, she should try it. And the rest is History:-). It was so nice as John B from Logos came on the call to say Hello to Ruth. We were so glad to hear that his wife is doing well, after her recent accident. And he talked about him launching his new book through Amazon com. It will be 2.99 through kindle, which is tremendous! But even better, John says that those who buy the book and do a review will get the book price refunded. They will also get a ten dollar credit on their Logos Account! John will be our most excellent Guest Speaker on Saturday 16th September and he will discuss his new book with us all then:-). Mel talked about Ruth making him a Lemon Meringue Pie (as his Grandmother used to make that for him) and posting it from England to the USA. Ha, it took Two months to arrive as it was Christmas time!! Yeah you read right, TWO MONTHS!! And by the time it did arrive Mel opened the package and said, " What's this an Invisible Pie !!!" As only a few crumbs were left. Mel felt that Custom Officials from both countries had all had a little nibble as it went on it's various travels :-). It was great to hear Ruth is doing so well health wise and so nice to have her on. Thanks to Ruth and to Mel and to John B for coming on.
