Hi Everybody, We were blessed to have Nelson, Mel's close friend and Bible teacher, on Saturday's conference call. From 8/3/17 to 3/17/18, Nelson posted these wonderful devotionals from "My Utmost for His Highest" by Oswald Chambers. There is a lot of wisdom in these devotionals. As the new year begins, I hope everyone will take the time to read them. God bless, Cheryl
Nelson 3/17/2018 1:06:46 AM | MAR 17 “…It is not a lack of spiritual experience that leads to failure, but a lack of working to keep our eyes focused and on the right goal….” For Christians, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. The “right goal” is to live life in such a way as to always be ready to meet Him, with our sin debt prepaid by what He did on the cross. Oswald Chambers has more to say on this 2 Corinthians 5:9 topic—njc, at The Servant's Primary Goal
