1:46:51 AM | AUG 19 SELF-AWARENESS-- Oswald Chambers today looks at Jesus’s invitation in Matthew 11:28, wherein He says: “Come to Me.” Chambers starts by saying that “God intends for us to live a well-rounded life in Christ Jesus, but there are times when that life is attacked from the outside. Then we tend to fall back into self-examination, a habit that we thought was gone….” The bottom line of the discussion today is that we should not allow our periodic lapses into ‘self-awareness’ override our dependency on Jesus to help us live a life of ‘Christ-awareness.’ Our Father Jehovah God Almighty not only wants that for us but has also made this promise in the Old Testament Book of Jeremiah 29:13-14, saying: “And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
