I especially love two for safety and security from the Book of Psalms—njc… Psalm 55:16-17 “As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.” And also Psalm 23:4: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” More on the biblical purpose of prayer at The Purpose Of Prayer Want to read the Bible the easy way in a year?
