To me, Christmas is all about Jesus and family, togetherness. When I think of my best Christmas, it would be during my childhood. Every Christmas Eve, my grandparents would throw the biggest parties at their home. Back then, my family was huge and cars would be lined around the block. The house was packed. You could barely move at times!
Christmas was a time to catch up with family, those who were near and far. Christmas was a time for reminiscing about the past and telling funny stories. I can remember running around the house playing with my many cousins.
My grandmother had 4 sisters and they were all great cooks. They would make all kinds of delicious food and desserts, it would take them all day to prepare. I can remember them laughing in the kitchen enjoying every second of the preparation and just being together. I miss those times. - they really were “the days”.
