Hey everyone, this is Claire. My family and I got a puppy about a week ago and since then my crawling symptoms have increased. I recently spoke with Mel and he said that we should get rid of the puppy because something he brought in has been causing an increase in my crawling symptoms. He’s a 10 week old poodle puppy and we would really really love to keep him. We have a 3 year old mutt who we have never had any problems with. I know that listening to Mel is always the best option. We were thinking about trying some natural allergy medicine to see if I experience any relief. Is it worth trying allergy medicine for me and WPS in his water to try and keep him or is that just going to prolong my healing journey? Has anyone else run into this problem and do any of you have a solution for us? I know that we will most likely need to return the puppy to his breeder, but we are trying everything we can to avoid this. Thank you all.

Hi Claire. I know it must of been hard for you, but very proud of the decision that was made. I know there is some sadness, but this too shall pass. Just focus on your wellness, pushing through it all, doing what’s necessary, and your health will be restored. Hugs. Tea

Hey everybody. I come on here with a saddened heart as we have decided to get rid of our new puppy Took. We named him Took after Peregrine Took from our family favorite movie series, Lord of the Rings. My increased crawling symptoms have not subsided as we had hoped. We’ve decided to listen to Mel as healing is the most important part of our lives right now. Hoping to put the misery behind us as quickly as this disease allows. Although this has been very hard and a lot of tears have been shed we’ve decided to try as hard as possible to get rid of MD for good. I ask that you all keep my mom and I in your prayers for healing.
