1/25/2018 1:43:19 PM | Thank you Laura and Karen for your helpful responses! I have felt myself slightly herxing in the last week and then in the last few days, bam very itchy sores on my forehead and face and itchy also particularly on my back, chest and feet. I'm on track with my diet so I think it's a reaction with the medicine winding up all the bacteria, fungi, viruses, spirochettes or whatever else is in the mix!! There's a little mini war going on!!! And I haven't even started the wps yet! I'm starting it tomorrow. And my skin in general and nervous system is hypersensitive to the slightest thing. I'm getting the intermittent feather tickle sensations... The tight skin feeling on my neck and upper back. It's as if the invisible man or woman is standing over me and tickling me with a feather!!! The tickling chest, arms, back and neck. I have a sore throat that comes and goes in the night, sometimes a slight fever that comes and goes. And waves of tiredness that come and go too. Oh and the electric jangling that was mentioned in the last conference call and I said was electromagnetic sensitivity, it is. But.. The jangling electrically is also a herx response also. This disease definitely affects the whole system on so many levels. The face sores are upsetting me and came as a surprise!! But yes, as you both say this is a multi layered disease and it has to leave the body somehow.. Yes, it doesn't go without a fight. But although I feel upset, I also know that it's good if it comes to the surface to be cleansed away. And I have to tune in to my body, to connect with it and work with it in healing. I also know a bit of a herx is a good sign that things are definitely working. My friends, phew it's a powerful disease we are fighting isn't it!! Hence why we have to do it carefully, mindfully and with endurance and patience. I'm utterly grateful therefore to have this protocol to help me fight it. I'm very fortunate to have it!!! I think that without it, I was not making much progress at all in six and a half years. Now.. There is definitely progress and it's not going to be an easy journey... But it is a journey that I'm happy that I'm able to make, despite discomfort at times. We just take it a day at a time, a week at a time... Forward facing and very much looking forward to times in the future with no crawlies, sores or tickles.... Love Chrissie |
