You must consider yourself to be very fortunate indeed to be diagnosed in uk and treated on NHS as well! Be thankful for such a wondeful GP.
Hibi scrub good and Dermol 200/6oo are helpful. I use both daily and have done for the last year or more.
Doxycyline for Lyme and co infrctions is standard though most GP's in UK only prescribe it having seen a bulls eye rash or a positive Lyme test. They only give for 3 weeks at most yet it is known 3 weeks is not enough Respiridone is a new one on me though I know they give it for Alzheimers and other things and 2 mg sounds about right. Not too high.
How are you feeling now. Have these eased any of your symptoms? Have you had a skin biopsy? And most importantly of all have you been advised about the importance of diet, rest and sleep. I know only too well the totally sleepless nights that months of that intense itching causes and hope it has eased. As you get well it lessens You will find a lot of support here and a great deal of caring help. God Bless Marie
