Morgellons - Our Mel

Hi Everybody,

It’s that time of year again when we begin to think of gifts. We think of gifts to give others…gifts we’d like to receive…and sometimes we pause long enough to consider the gifts we’ve been given from God. One of the biggest gifts God has given us is this website and the man behind it.

We’re all very familiar with the negative aspects of this disease…as a matter of fact, we all know it’s just one big bundle of bad. And scary…let’s not forget scary. And…oh! Who could forget the insulting factor…and you all know what I’m talking about. Insulted is what we get when we attempt to get (actually buy because it’s never cheap) help from the medical community. In my opinion, that’s insult to injury on almost Job-like proportions. One might think I’d be over the indignity of this reality…but I’m not.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again…Thank God, Thank God, Thank God for Mel. He’s there for us dispelling misconceptions, offering hope, and tirelessly manning the helm singlehandedly to keep us all off the ledge. There’s no one else who does this in the way Mel does it.

For clarity, I’ll bullet point the ways his approach is unique to others who address this disease:

• He’s not selling anything for personal gain. He DOES give all the manufacturers advertising on his site. If one considers the numbers of people who visit his site globally, that’s an unbelievable gift to these manufacturers. He does it because he believes in the products because he’s used them himself and he wants to share that information with those who are suffering. The only money he negotiates for all of this free advertisement is to ask for a percentage to be given to the foundation which provides free and / or discounted products for those who are struggling financially. It the world of business…and in the world of others who offer help with this disease this is unheard of. I personally think he needs to take a percentage for himself because he earns it…but my attempts to get him to consider this have been dismissed.

• He’s had the disease himself and knows what it’s like. That is not true for everyone out there offering “help.”

• There’s a track record of many who have fully regained their health over the years by using Mel's "sum of the parts" protocol. It’s not easy…but Mel is there to shine a light on the path every step of the way.

• He makes himself available on an almost constant basis. He offers coaching hours…and free coaching for those who qualify…and he’s almost always available…even on major holidays. Of course he’s attempted to get the coaching hours under control in order to have time to go to the store, do errands, and just have time off…but people get confused about the hours and call anyway…sometimes even in the middle of the night. Mel will answer…although one might get one’s head bitten off if you call in the middle of the night…or when he’s taking a nap (personal experience here)…but once he gets himself untwisted from around the axle, he’ll think about it and call you back to make sure you’re ok (although...please do take time to look at his updated coaching hours before you call him). He does this because he cares. I’ve known him for years…and his motivation is not monetary…his motivation is to help.

Mel lives so carefully…he doesn’t take vacations…he drives a tiny cheap car (and never very far…just for basic errands)…he doesn’t go out to eat…he rarely buys clothes…he pinches every penny….and is probably the thriftiest person I know. Again…I’ve watched him…and his motivations are pure.

Mel will be 76 on December 15th. He continuous to serve us singlehandedly with no end date or exit plan in sight. He’s there for us, and we need to be there for him…if for no other reason to preserve this resource we all depend upon to manage our lives.

Mel is a good money manager, but he does struggle financially…and this last big bump in inflation has hit him hard. It’s hit us all hard, but if one considers Mel’s bare bones budget and expenses, it’s a bigger hit for him than most.

He’s been trying to address this by tightening his belt even more than I would have thought possible. One big expense is rent. His rent just went up again…and it was expensive to start with. When I’ve looked at Nevada’s rent rates they are quite a bit more than most other places.

Because of this, he’s making plans to move to Tennessee where the rent is less expensive sometime during this next year. It just makes sense to go somewhere to cut this big expense, and he's been trying to figure out how to do this for years, but the cost of moving has made it prohibitive.

Mel has a dear friend he’s known for years who is like a brother to him in Tennessee, so that will help with the transition…he’ll know someone there. The move will be expensive…and Mel has had to go into his meager savings account pretty deeply in the last few months for some medical expenses he was hit with for his knee which…ironically, he ended up taking care of himself. The medical community didn’t help him…but boy did they charge him.

Another way Mel is attempting to get ready for his move and to address his escalating expenses is to sell off some of his possessions. He’s sold off furniture, lamps, and is working on getting his model trains ready to sell in order to raise some money. To say he’s living bare bones is an understatement.

Mel is a gift to us, and now we need to be a gift to him. Let’s send Mel some holiday money. I’m not just saying this for others…I’ve already put my money where my mouth is. Did I feel it in my budget? Yes…but it was given with an open and appreciative heart for all he’s done for me. If I’d continued at the rate I was going when I first found him, I would have had to quit my job because my health was deteriorating rapidly and the medical community wasn’t helping me. I am literally still earning a living due to the information I’ve gotten from this website and the man who created it.

Let's all send Mel some money to keep him going and help him move. Anything will help…but please consider being generous with this man who has been so completely generous with all of us. Go to HeCuresAll.org and click the PayPal button to make a donation.

Love,
Karen

Morgellons - Our Mel

Hello Everyone,

Mel has been our guide, mentor, and inspiration in finding the way to heal ourselves and regain our health. As heavy as this next chapter in his life will be - emotionally, physically, financially - we can all provide him comfort with supporting whatever we can for his move to TN. This is something not new to Mel - he was on the verge of moving this past Summer/Fall time but was able to keep his rent from increasing. Unfortunately, Uncle Sam hasn't been the greatest contributor with rising inflation that puts a strain on so many of us, and especially Mel.

Whatever we can give, whatever expense in our personal budget we can forego. $5, $10, $25... whatever it is, if everyone in this community were to contribute even a little, it will be make all the difference. Let's support Mel's transition so he can continue supporting us in his mission - the mission we all believe that God placed in Mel's hands.

Many hands make light work. Go to HeCuresAll.org and click the PayPal button to make a donation.

Thank you Mel for all you do - we support your mission!

Hello Mel,

I plan to get back on board, and start getting the protocol, as soon as my social security comes through, which is how I will afford it, along with my full-time job.

I'm praying for Mel, and will give as soon as I can.
I live in Indiana which is quite low cost, and I'm very thankful for that.

God bless him abundantly,
for all that he does for so many!

In Christ Jesus by his grace,
Marilyn
