When you’re living with Morgellons and Lyme disease, chronic inflammation, autoimmune issues, low energy, exhaustion, skin problems, and all the other strange things we deal with it is not easy!

Some days you might wake up feeling almost human again and think, “Right! I’m back! Let’s clean the house, sort the garden, answer every message I’ve ignored and completely reorganise my life!”

And then your body quietly whispers...."No can do!!"

Maybe you do half the job today and half tomorrow. Maybe you sit down while you're doing something.

Maybe you cancel something because you simply don't have enough energy and THAT IS OK!

Remember, your worth isn't measured by how much you accomplish on a day when your body is struggling.

And please remember something incredibly important...

You are not your illness!

You may be exhausted. You may have symptoms that affect your skin, your energy, your concentration, your mood and your ability to do the things you once took for granted.

But none of those things define who you are.

And it isn't your fault that you became unwell.

So try talking to yourself the way you would talk to your best friend!

Rest before you're completely exhausted.

Break things into smaller pieces.

You are still here.

You are still you.

Pace yourself. Be kind to yourself. Be your own best friend.

Love Chrissie
