Hi Everybody,

I've made a post in the past about the Bible verse I always characterize in my mind as "Bread on the Water."

Here it is:

Ecclesiastes 11 :: NIV. Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again. Give portions to seven, yes to eight, for you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. If clouds are full of water, they pour rain upon the earth.

In essence it means that whatever you put out there will come back to you in abundance.

It's the same with the He Cures All Foundation...and if you've ever heard the saying, "There for but the grace of God go I," then you'll start connecting the dots of why it's so important to contribute to the foundation.

No one dealing with this disease is in an easy place...and I'd suspect that most of us are only able to buy our supplements due to some careful money management...so it's obviously not easy for any of us. However...having to deal with all of this with no hope for getting the supplements due to financial constraints...now THAT is taking the stress level to an unbearable level.

So I'm going to suggest something...and that's volume. It's a lot to ask a few to contribute heavily each month...but it's something any of us can do to contribute small amounts regularly...and it all comes down to volume.

Another point to remember...we all know how stressed Mel can get. We need to remember to help take the stress off of him in any way we can. He worries quite a bit about keeping the foundation funded. If that worry is diminished, he can focus on the bigger job of helping the community with keeping the posts updated, answering the emails, preparing and delivering the conference calls, and coaching I always try to remember he's a one man show...so the support of the community is essential to keep all of this running.

A lesson I've learned over the years...we are all in this together...to support each other. This disease offers many lessons...and a deeper understanding of the idea that we are all connected is a big one for me.

So...to all of my brothers and sisters in this journey...from those who can easily afford the protocol to those who can't even buy the first item...we're all God's children and this life is but a blink in the everlasting life of our souls. Let's remember this and support our community members in any way we can.

Love,

Karen
