11/13/2016 3:27:22 PM | Hi Kat, Here's my two cents. Your blood pH never varies within a certain very narrow range or you would die, however such is not the case with urine and saliva pH. Since at this time I am not testing saliva I cannot comment on that. Urine pH is where it is at for me for now. Hi again Ms V., I also am not an expert in pH, to say the least, however I am following the information in the links I quoted below and Peter's direction. A caution around using baking soda would be to take it away from meals as it would probably lower stomach acid and interfere with digestion especially of proteins. Your experience with using it is intriguing and I just might experiment to see its effects. I live at least an hour away from a city big enough to have a Costco, but a local store (10 miles, that passes for local in this neck of the woods!) might have the Santa Cruz. Thanks for listing your sources. What I like about the lemon juice besides the fact that it seems to be working for me, is that the two extra quarts help with keeping me well hydrated throughout the day along with my regular water intake. Paraphrasing Eleanor Roosevelt, you can't step on anyone's toes without their permission. And finally, as seen at a local store, the following T-shirt with this message.
