Interesting fodder for thought, as usual :)
Getting a consistently high pH was tricky for me, too. Interestingly enough, though, my husband doesn't have MD but has consistently lower pH values than I do. He is on a portion of the protocol and has been on an anti-Candida diet for over a month now and he is still registering pH levels in the low to mid 6s. This is also interesting because, unlike me, he has a robust immune system.
The only things I do that he doesn't at this point are these:
Upon waking: I drink 1/2 tsp natural bicarbonate of soda mixed with the juice of half a lemon in 1/2 cup of spring water and then wait 1/2 hour before taking any of the morning protocol or any food.
1 hour before MMS at night, I drink a glass of warm spring water with the juice of 1/2 lemon
If I know I will be eating or drinking someone that is either neutral on the acid-alkaline scale or on the acidic side, I incorporate more alkaline spices and herbs into my day to offset that.
In my case, pH was easier to get level than consistently raising body temperature.
Thank you for posting your trial and error and progress in these things. It really helps to see what is working and not working for others.
Sending you warmth and hope for maximum healing -
