Thanks so much for reading out Philip Keller's devotional on Sundays prayer call and for writing a post about it here. His words are poignant, wise, beautiful and true. I think his words resonate very much with us in this community. Mel does not call us, 'warriors' for nothing!!
It seems to me that we are all very resilient indeed in fighting this disease. I would say that every one of us does have that "noble ability to bear adverse circumstances without breaking down". Certainly we all need that,"perseverance that produces positive results even under opposition and suffering". This community helps us to hold onto that perseverance and gives us the support we need to endure the difficult journey that we are on.
Prayers too are so important for all of us. Much needed and much appreciated. It is such a cohesive community that we all help each other and pray for each other :-).
It was so good to hear you on the prayer call!
