In your suffering, you have come alongside me. In your grief, I see that you fully understand mine. In your sacrifice, I realize that you care and have given your all for me. And yet, I still struggle to understand why you've allowed this great sorrow in my life. Where my pain threatens my trust in you, please keep me from doubt and resentment. Let the reminder of you as my sympathetic Savior renew my faith in your love and good purposes for my life.
