Even so called sugar -free commercial ketchup and barbeque sauces contain all sorts of other things...one even has wheat flour in it!
Best for your daughter to have homemade.
Www.sugarfreemom.com has some recipes for ketchup etc.
One recipe uses dried cloves in it but you could use one drop of clove essential oil added to the olive oil first instead of dried cloves.
Clove oil is an antimicrobial .
Use a little stevia in it if need be. And use an ordinary vinegar or add extra apple cider vinegar rather than the red wine vinegar.
In order to beat the sugar craving you need to cut all sugars from the diet. Carbs turn to sugar in the body.
Hence a very low carb diet is vital.
These bacteria feed on sugars.
God Bless.
