Hi all.
For the last few weeks I've had a strange rattle under my car especially when changing gears. One day it started making a screeching noise
I pulled over and turned the car off. Then turned it on an it was quiet. The next day I drove by the spot where I stopped and there was a big PC of metal on the side of the road. I picked it up in case I needed it.
I still had the noise so went to Mr. Tire. They said we found your noise. It was a heat shield or something which they removed The metal part didn't belong to my car.
BUT my back tires were so bad they could have blown at any time
I feel grateful for the noise because it saved me from a possible accident or worse. So I got new tires on the back and am on the road again.
